Department Overview
Rajshahi College is playing a very important role in the field of higher education in Bangladesh. As a member of Rajshahi College family, The Dept. of Finance and Banking is playing it’s part properly with utmost sincerity. Every business and non business organisation needs efficient human resource for smooth financial management. Keeping in mind this fact, the authority of Rajshahi College took initiative to launch Finance as a separate department from the academic session of 2011-2012. A committee comprising Dr. Md. Shah Alam Associate Prof. Management, Md. Aminul Islam , Associate Prof. Accounting and Md. Antaz Ali , Lecturer Accounting performed procedural activities under the very able guidelines of Prof. Md. Habibur Rahman The Honourable Vice Principal of Rajshahi College. Prof. Md. Abul Kalam Azad of Psychology Department played a very important role in this regard. The Dept. of Finance and Banking Officially commenced it’s operation under the supervision of Accounting Department from January, 2013.
