Overview<\/span><\/h3>\n

Rajshahi College Research Community (RCRC) is a community for the members of BCS General Education Cadre in Bangladesh who are truly enthusiastic about research, particularly social research. A group of same minded teachers from different disciplines of the Rajshahi College took the first initiative. They decided to introduce a research community in the college education sector. The community was started on 5 December 2020 with 9 members on an online platform. The main intention was to create and develop the practice of research activities among the members of BCS General Education Cadre. There were two types of members, in-campus (who work at Rajshahi College) and out-campus (who do not work at Rajshahi College but members of BCS General Education Cadre). The members used to meet weekly and discussed a particular issue related to research each week among themselves. After continuing successfully for one year, on 5 December 2021, the principal of Rajshahi College, Professor Md. Abdul Khaleque declared the inauguration of RCRC as an institution under Rajshahi College. Since then, RCRC has been working to enhance the research practice in the government colleges of Bangladesh. RCRC also intends to introduce the students of Rajshahi College with social research through different initiatives.<\/p>\n
